About Clear Lake Foreclosure



Clear Lake City is a master planned community located in southeast Harris County, Texas, and is one of the largest master planned communities within the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area. Community and its adjacent areas has a high concentration of engineers due to both NASA and the local petro-chemical industry.

The master planned community was named the city of Clear Lake, south of Lake Johnson Space Center, which separates Harris County from Galveston County and Clear Creek connects to Galveston Bay.

Clear Lake City was originally developed by the Friendswood Development Company on land sold to Humble Oil and Refining Company (later Exxon Company) west of James Marion 1938.

Part of the Clear Lake City, which was Houston's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) was added to the city in 1977, despite Houston residents on completion of their grassroots campaign. Their slogan was "free Clear Lake 25000!"
