About Deer Park Foreclosure



Deer Park is the City of Harris County, Texas the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown Metropolitan Area and is located in East Texas. From the 2000 U.S. Census, the city population was 28,520.

Deer Park was established in 1892 Simon West. The city became known as the park is privately owned deer who lived in the area. A railroad station opened later that year and was followed by a post office in 1893.

The subdivision was created in 1893 and was present in the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway around 1894. A Deer Park post office was established in 1893 stopped in 1919 and again in 1930. In 1896, the community, with a population of forty in the hotel, general store and three resident carpenters. In 1930, an independent school district was created. By 1940, the population has dropped to twenty-five. By 1946, however, that the area began to flourish, such as the Deer Park site at refineries and plants for the manufacture of TNT. Population 736 1950 grew to 12,773 in 1970, and is now approaching 30,000 residents. This growth is fueled by the growth of the petrochemical industry as well as the growth of business along the Houston Ship Channel. Deer Park neighbors in the San Jacinto Battlefield, the site is 21 April 1836 fight, which ensures the independence of the Republic of Texas.
