About Kingwood Foreclosure



Kingwood is a 14,000-acre (57 km) master planned community located in northeast Houston, Texas. Most of Kingwood is in Harris County for which the quantity of Montgomery County.

This is the largest master planned for the Harris County and the other is the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown Metropolitan Area. The name is derived from King Ranch, which at one point owned the land, as well as the Friendswood Development Company.

Known as the "liveability Forest, the Lake Houston Kingwood has been developed by the Friendswood Development Company, which is the title of John Bruton, Jr., and was established in 1969. The most recent assessment of Kingwood's population was about 63,000 in 2004.

Initially, an unincorporated area, part of Kingwood in Harris County was annexed by the City of Houston in 1996. The hotly contested annexation was appealed to the Texas Supreme Court and led to the passage of Texas Senate Bill 89 in 1999, which restricts the rights of the annexation of the city.

Kingwood is known as the suburban area of Houston is a premier golf course and lake front luxury homes.

Kingwood is divided into subdivisions, which are called "villages". Village consists of Barrington Kingwood, Bear Branch, Elm Grove, Fosters Mill, Fosters Mill Estates, Greentree, Greentree Manor, hunters Ridge, Kings crossing, Kings Forest, Kings Forest Estates, Kings Point, Kings River, Kingwood Glen Manor, Kingwood Kingwood Green Lakes , Kingwood Place, Mills Branch, North Woodland Hills, Riverchase, Royal Shores, Sand Creek, Sherwood Trails, South Woodland Hills, Town Center and Trailwood and Woodstream.

Oakhurst at Kingwood and Kings Manor is a community, the development of Friendswood Development Company and is immediately adjacent to Kingwood, but it is often considered to be separate developments, and not from Kingwood Kingwood villages.

Many other subdivisions have popped up around the Kingwood area, although they are not actually part of Kingwood. Some of these subdivisions of Deer Ridge Estates, North Kingwood Forest, Lakewood Cove and Woodspring Forest. Although they attend Humble ISD schools, they do not pay the Kingwood Service Association (KSA) and the fees are not considered Kingwood villages.
