About Richmond Foreclosure

City of Richmond is the county seat of Fort Bend County in the U.S. state of Texas, Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area. From the 2000 U.S. Census, the city population was 11,081. Richmond is also regarded as a "twin" city of Rosenberg, as urban areas have joined.

Richmond is rich in Texas history, as it was the first town incorporated by a short country, the Republic of Texas, to 1837. Early inhabitants of the city include many well-known figures in the Texas Laurie Jane Long, Deaf Smith and Mirabeau Lamar.

Although it is the county seat, which contain most of the local government offices, it is actually one of the smaller urban areas and the relatively weak economic strength compared to other local governments. As seems to be spreading past Sugar Land, it might change in the not-too-distant future, because of the current view of Richmond-Rosenberg area.
